One of our regular customers experienced some trouble when moving his Airstream around on his property. The tires of his tractor dented in the front corners of this 60+ yr old Wanderer when trying to make a turn too sharp. They also had some trouble with the door flying open when traveling. This resulted in broken ribs inside the door skin. After dropping off the trailer at our facilities, PTV crews went to work repairing the damage. PVT replaced the front panel and affected banana wraps. The door was repaired, the house doorknob was removed, and a new recessed latch was installed.

While this beautiful 'whale tail' was here, the couple decided to make some interior upgrades, too. The front wood cabinet was removed as well as the old stove and tiny fridge. New built-in seats were created in the front with a drop down walnut table for an extra bed. New cushions with dark green upholstery were custom made to fit the space. They also gained valuable storage space underneath the seats.

The kitchen was made over with a solid walnut countertop, new sink, faucets, cutting board, fridge and stove.

The results is a beautiful blend of old and new.
