Ben Diedrich and Adam Lombard, childhood friends from Saratoga Springs, NY, posess passions for food, drinks, music, and travel. This led them to customize a 1966 Airstream Safari and create their own business - Barstream Events. BarStream provides contracted alcohol services at indoor and outdoor venues. They partner with event producers, breweries, bars, distillers, distributors, and wineries. Using the Safari as their serving platform gains them a nice eye-catching appeal. So much so that they are expanding with a second trailer - a 1964 Safari.

PVT crews went to work performing a total shell-off restoration to bring the frame back to like-new condition. A brand new subfloor was then installed before the shell was remarried back to the frame. Access doors were covered with new aluminum and riveted in place. These will match up beautifully after the trailer is polished.

Adam and Ben asked for the serving window to come down the side of the trailer about 4 inches lower than we normally do. This was not a problem to extend the bottom of the opening and the hatch door making a 44 inch high hatch opening. By request both front and rear windows were removed and covered over with aluminum. They also opted for no window in the hatch door.

As with their first Airstream, Ben and Adam will be polishing and finishing the interior themselves.
