Paul and Angela Smith of Park Tavern have nestled this vintage Airstream trailer at the corner of Piedmont Park where the BeltLine’s Eastside Trail intersects. It’s called Basecamp Provisions, and the concept is housed inside and around a 1970 Overlander that PVT custom built to their specifications.

On the menu, look for a selection of tacos, grilled cheese sandwiches, acai bowls, and salads. The Smiths want Basecamp Provisions to be a place where outdoorsy Atlantans can “relax, refuel, and hydrate” while spending time on the BeltLine or at Piedmont Park.

This trailer was also featured under 'Airstream Food' in the Spring 2017 edition of Airstream Life Magazine.

WHAT WE DID DURING THE CUSTOMIZATION:
  • Create and install serving hatch in side of trailer
  • Gut trailer, insulate and reinstall interior aluminum
  • install new subfloor
  • Paint interior
  • New aluminum rims and new tires
  • Polish exterior
